Atex: Clevermac vacuum cleaners that meet the ATEX standard can be used where there is a risk of explosion of dust and/or gases. The models can be single-phase (220V) or three-phase (400V).
De eenvoudigste norm is de Atex-stofexplosienorm, bijkomstig kan er worden voldaan aan gasexplosieveiligheid of aan beide. De meeste modellen kunnen eenvoudig worden aangepast om te voldoen aan werken in categorie “3”; zijnde zone 2-22 (EX II 3GD), sommige toestellen kunnen voldoen aan werken in zone “2”; of zone 1-21. Wat zone 1-21 betreft, daarvoor kan het zijn dat er moet worden overgestapt naar stofzuigers aangedreven op perslucht.
